A quenching result of weak solutions of semi-linear parabolic equations

Abstract

We prove a global existence  of weak solutions of semi-linear parabolic  equations with a singular absorption. In particular, we show that any weak solution vanishes after a finite time under some circumstances. Our results improve the one of Montenegro.
