Finite dimensional null-controllability of a fractional parabolic equation

Abstract

In this article we analyze some controllability properties of a fractional equation which serves as a model for anomalous diffusive phenomena. It is known that this equation is not spectrally controllable. Our aim is to study the behavior of the control when only the projection of the solution over a finite dimensional space is driven to zero in finite time.
