The Voronovskaja type theorem for an extension of Kantorovich operators

Abstract

Recently, D. Barbosu, O. T. Pop and D. Miclaus defined a class of linear and positive operators depending on a certain function φ. These operators generalize the well known Szasz-Mirakjan-Kantorovich operators. In the present paper we establish a Voronovskaja theorem, the uniform convergence and the order of approximation using the modulus of continuity for the same operators.
