New approach to the calculation of fractal dimension of the lungs

Abstract

In the present work, using a new approach, we will calculate the fractal dimension of the lungs, through a precise technique of mathematical simulation. Note that the main objective of this study is to contribute to further conrm the idea of the
fractal structure of the lungs; structure permitted by the phenomenon of self-similarity.
